            PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Posen, Cook County, Illinois will receive sealed bids for the purchase, under the successful bid, of the simple interest in the following real property:

LOTS 8 AND 9 IN ELMORE’S POSEN MANOR, A SUBDIVISION OF LOTS 13, 14 AND 15 IN ROBERTSON & YOUNG’S SUBDIVISION OF PART OF FRACTIONAL HALF OF SECTION 7, TIWBSGUO 36 NORTH, RANGE 14, EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERDIAN LYING NORTH OF THE INDIAN BOUNDARY LINE AND PART OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 12, TOWNSHIP 36 NORTH, RANGE 13 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINICPAL MERIDIAN, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF RECORDED AUGUST 21ST 1947 AS DOCUMENT#14127707 IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS

Which property is generally located at 2344 Walter Zimny Drive in the Village of Posen and is currently lying vacant.

Minimum bid in the amount of Ninety Thousand Dollars ($90,000.00) for the purchase of the

aforesaid interest in the above described property are hereby invited and will be received by the Village Clerk at the Village Hall located at 2440 W. Walter Zimny Drive, Posen, Illinois 60469 between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm by October 7th, 2019. Said proposals shall be addressed to:

and shall bear the legend “PROPOSAL-SALE OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2344 Walter Zimny Drive and the name and address of the bidder.

            All bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud at the regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Posen at 7:00 pm on October 8th, 2019.

            A contract may be awarded to the highest bidder whose bid is found to be in the best interest of the Village of Posen. The President and Board of the Village of Posen reserve the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding. Payment is due at the time of acceptance. The President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Posen further reserve the right to review and study any and all bids and to make a contract award within thirty (30) days after the bids have been opened and publicly read.
