Each year, the Village publishes a Water Quality Report and notifies all Posen water customers that it is available for review.

During 2021, the Village of Posen met all water quality standards established by the United States government and Illinois Environmental Protection Agency
On Tuesday April 12th, 2022 Village President Frank Podbielniak requested approval from the Village Board of Trustees to appoint Elsa Velazquez to fill the vacant Trustee position after the resignation of Trustee Araceli Costello on March 22nd, 2022. Elsa is a longtime resident of Posen and has previously served on the Posen-Robbins School District Board. Welcome Elsa to the Village Board. Elsa will oversee the Fire Department as a Trustee.
